If I could give these guys 10 stars I would. We are senior citizens and sometimes we think we are stronger than we are, twice now they have helped out with moving stuff from our kitchen to the garage, and once moving a sofa set off a trailer into our house and are very reasonably priced. They even go out of their way to help even when they are super busy, they find a way. Three years ago they did a move for us and their men are so professional and do anything to help. Mine are similar to everyone else's comments. I moved in September, 2023 - they were on time, careful handling all my belongings, courteous, hard working, friendly. Also, dealing with Veronica in the office was a pleasure through the whole experience. I definitely, highly recommend them.
We recently moved homes using the services of Muskoka Hawk Moving and Delivery. We could not have been more impressed with the moving crew who worked a 12 hour day to make our move happen. Not only were Drew, Sonny, and Brock extremely capable of the physical and organizational efforts required for our move, they were also very professional throughout a very long day and evening. 10 out of 10!!! We moved from Toronto to Huntsville in July, and were really happy that we chose to work with the Muskoka Hawk team. They certainly helped minimize a ton of the usual moving related stress, from beginning to end, with efficient and helpful communication from Veronica in the office, to helpful and professional engagement and advice by the owner "Big John", and with a really pleasant and friendly crew. All our items were carefully managed, well packed and arrived without fault. Their crew were extremally attentive and despite some heavy and awkward furniture, they took extra care to avoid knocking walls, both moving out and moving in. In summary, we would highly recommend using them.
We've used "The Hawk" several times and most recently for 2 moves to Caledon from Gravenhurst. Always on time and professional. We are consistantly amazed at the individual and collective strength of the teams we've had; they get a lot done in a short time, but with care. Whether in extreme heat, or while navigating snow and ice, whether a short distance or long, John and his team are a pleasure to deal with, (as well as Veronica on the phone); congenial and accommodating, with integrity. Highly recommend.
I watched a Muskoka Hawk moving team in action at a friend's home yesterday and can't say enough about the professionalism, work ethic and courtesy I observed from Pat, Brock and Jerrith. They were joined for the second truck load by John and a second team and a seamless transition to the new home was achieved!
The guys Jordan and Chris were fantastic, even in the heat they were cheerful and worked their asses off, when Doug joined in the afternoon they were a well oiled team. As well , Veronica was very helpful and pleasant on the phone to deal with answering any questions we had for her. We would certainly recommend them for a hassle free move!

Big John and his crew moved us 3 times in the last6 months yes that's right 3 different times from 3 different locations! Each move was handled very efficiently and safely. His employees are top notch men and women who really know how to move your effects the RIGHT way. We were extremely happy with how well this company operates. They are all very knowledgeable in what they do and they carry out their work reliably and with great humor as well. Team co-operation is also front and center in all they do. This crew makes moving Hugh bulky furniture look like child's play. What a well oiled machine they are. Just getting to writing a review. Hawk had moved me in November from Huntsville to Virginiatown. The guys are bulls. Didn't slow down, went above and beyond trying to get items where I wanted them, and amazingly nothing got broken. Quote to actual was a bit off but so were the circumstances. Would highly recommend them.
Chris and Mike just delivered my new d/w in frigid temperatures - great attitude, great smiles, pleasant guys. So professional. Didn't even bat an eye at my ice-encrusted driveway! Sorry guys I didn't notice before. Great delivery. So impressed.

I had a fridge delivered to my home, they masked up on arrival, saw where the fridge was to go, gave advise on the start up of the fridge and how to put the handles on and removal of all the plastic, very polite, efficient, and showed attention to detail of the delivery, well done Muskoka Hawk.

Amazing service! During the uneasy times of COVID-19 Muskoka Hawk delivered my fridge with professionalism and on time. Thank you for understanding that we wished for you to leave our fridge on our deck and we would take it from there. Thank you for protecting yourselves and us by arriving with masks and the phone call 30 minutes prior to your arrival was very nice. We did not expect to even receive our fridge during this pandemic.
Mike and Pat delivered my new washer and dryer On Thurs the 14 and the day was terrible due to the snow storm but they came anyway and removed a few feet of snow leading up to the basement door Got them both hooked up with no problems I have to thank them both very much for what they did and their friendliness as well Would hire them in an instant if I ever needed to move anything THANKS GUYS!!! On July 31, 2019, we hired Mike Russel and Chris Strood to help us unload our storage locker to our new cottage build. They were both outstanding. Mike, the veteran, was so professional, funny and a wealth of knowledge. With his experience, he guided Chris to fill the 20' U-haul to capacity while treating our antiques with such care. We could not have done the move without their expert care and attention to our items. Our contact with the office staff was wonderful. They treated all of our concerns with respect and were extremely pleasant. Thank you all so very much.
David and Chris delivered my new fridge this morning and could not have been more professional and polite. They managed to get both the old and new fridge through a very tight squeeze and made it look easy! Thank you guys so much! You were great.
The team of Mike, Pat and David made our move easy. They arrived on time and were consistently careful, efficient and personable. We enjoyed working with them and would highly recommend them and Muskoka Hawk - we will definitely be using them again.
We had a fridge swap done. 2 young men came, calling me ahead of time to say they were coming in 30 seconds. They get here, and figure out the fridge might be hard to remove. One man was quite polite, but started taking doors down without asking. The second man frustratingly tells me the fridge is to big. So I suggest they take the doors of the fridge off. He said would have to charge me to do that, and it’s “to much work” So he says we’ll have to take the trim off. I asked if they’d put it back, and he said no. “We aren’t allowed to do construction work on your house” Angrily the rude man says “ Well I don’t know what to do” The polite man suggest they try and move the fridge with the doors opened, and it worked. They then proceed to take another door off without asking. Finally they get it out of the house. Time to bring the new one in, well they can’t get it through the door unless I (with 4 children under the age of 5) take the trim off myself, so we agree to leave it in a different room. Then they leave without reinstalling my 2 doors. I was shocked at the ignorance and rudeness of these two men.
We’ve just used Muskoka Hawk for the second time this year. The communication is great, the guys are hard working, polite, and careful. No damage. Quick work. I was running an errand when they arrived at the new house and with little instruction from someone here, they had put almost everything into correct rooms before I arrived. Then offered to move anything that wasn’t in the right place - which was my fault, not theirs. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else (and we move often!!) These guys are so great! They went out of their way to make it the best two moves we’ve ever had. Thanks MHawk!!
Muskoka Hawk did an excellent job. We were so pleased with every step along the way, from the initial communication, to the efficiency of the move, to the final cost. Mike and Juan were also friendly and attentive to everything. This was a local move, from our place to storage. We will definitely hire them again.

Our move was from Bracebridge to Huntsville with some challenging stairs at the delivery end. Gord and his team were great. We have not had movers before and these guys are exactly the way we imagined a move with proffessionals should be. They are courteous, efficient and hardworking. They arrived exactly when they said , did a walk through and then right to work. They also gave a hand when needed for us to set something in place or put together. Thank you very much.
Gord and Kevin did a fantastic job of moving two of rooms of furniture for us from Toronto to our place on Lake of Bays. Even though the truck broke down, they quickly got a replacement truck and got things back on track. They one thing that impressed me was the amount of communication we received from our initial request for a quote until the delivery was completed. Great job Muskoka Hawk!
A move of a couple of rooms of furniture up to family on Lake of Bays was well done. Despite an initial 'hick-up' with the truck, a replacement was arranged 'lickety split' to get the job done. And great care was taken by the team (Kevin & Gord) when moving a couple of bigger pieces down our narrow staircase. No dings to the walls. Thanks for the caring and efficient approach.
Muskoka Hawk moved me from Bracebridge to Kingston on Tuesday and thanks them the event went smoother then anyone could ask for. They arrived on time and got right to work wrapping and packing things and had us ready to roll in an hour and a half. We took separate routes and because of highway construction I was and hour longer getting here. When I arrived they already had the move in almost done. They put every box in the room noted on the box , set up my bed and other furniture, even asked me how I wanted it done ,unwrapped the lamps etc. and took the garbage with them. I don’t often write comments like this but they were so kind and considerate to me I just thought you should know. My neighbour in Bracebridge and the management here comments on way a great job they did.
I moved from Toronto to Huntsville in May and John provided superior service. Not only was the move very smooth, but with regular contact prior to moving day John helped to alleviate the anxiety that inevitably comes with moving. Moving day was a breeze! He and his helper were punctual, efficient, respectful and friendly.
My cat and I rode along in John's vehicle at no extra charge. Certainly an unexpected perk! Since I didn't have a vehicle it was another way John was able to smooth the relocation process.

It is a pleasure to write a review for John. Although I am skeptic of Kijiji, I did email and reach out to John, to enquire about moving furniture from Muskoka to Belleville. His price and availability was incomparable and fit with my schedule. John arrived on time, put protective covering on all the pieces, securing the glass shelving. Fortunately, a very good friend was there to help John, and they worked together as if they had been doing it for years. In Belleville, John arrived on time, and manoeuvred each piece downstairs, as if he had been in my house and knew exactly when to turn and lift to ensure each piece made it downstairs without a scratch or bump. A good friend was here to help and John was exceptional in guiding them on how to hold and move each piece. John made it look simple a task in itself. If you are looking to move, look no farther, John is a professional like no other.
We are both in our 60s and last week moved to Bracebridge from Toronto. We had been given many quotes to move from various companies, but they were horrendously expensive, to the point of leaving us feeling ripped-off before we'd even started.
We have been extremely lucky with Kijiji and Craigslist, and we contacted The Muskoka Hawk from their advertisement for a quote.
John responded immediately with an all in cash quote. He contacted us a few days before the move and kept in contact. He arrived exactly on time - keeping us up to date on his movements. He has all the necessary equipment and packing material to keep possessions safe. We helped him load, bringing down the cost of having an additional person to load.
As we do not have a car, we drove with him to Bracebridge, chatting all the way and stopping for a bite to eat. At our destination, we unloaded, paid and wished John well.
This is the easiest move we have ever had - and we have moved a lot in our lifetimes. John is a pleasure to work with and a meticulous loader and carer of other people's possessions. We highly recommend him to anyone and we have given him permission to give anyone our phone number to contact if they would like to get in touch with someone to talk.
