Sorry for the delay on this! But here is a Doug update!
We raised a little over $800 total from the sales of the raffle baskets and donations, WOW!! Thank you all so so much, it helped a lot with the cost of the surgeries!
He had his surgeries one week ago today! They removed the ugly mass from his front left foot, amputated his tail and cleaned his teeth (and pulled one). He is healing beautifully from all of that! His bum looks awesome and his foot looks (almost) normal!!! We received the results of what the mass was and it was cancerous, but they don't think the growths on his other feet are necessarily the same thing, which is good, and they aren't overly concerned with it returning immediately or causing us too much issue, at least for now!
Now we are looking into having the sores on his other feet taken care of so that walking can be more comfortable for him. All in all he is doing pretty well!
