Let's talk baths!! 

It is one of the most important steps in any groom both for the finished look and the dog's skin & coat!! As such I am VERY particular about the shampoo and conditioner I keep and use at my Spaw. In my 10 years grooming I've been able to try a lot out!  I would never use anything that I haven't used on my own pets and been very happy with!

I keep 3 brands on hand and use them all regularly. All 3 are made in North America (2 in the usa and the other right here in Canada) which is important to me!  Here at Sarah's Doggie Day Spaw your dog will receive 2 shampoos during their bath which will be a combination of the following and usually a conditioner treatment depending on the type of coat. 

Best Shot Ultra Wash This is the one I've been using the longest, since my beginning in grooming. I use it primarily on shedding dogs as it helps a great deal to get that shedding undercoat out! It smells amazing (peppermint!!) and leaves the coat nice and soft!! 

Healthy sudz shampoo and conditioner  This one is made right here in Canada (close by actually)! Natural safe ingredients.  It has a lovely light scent and is so very gentle! The condition leaves hair and skin moisturized and healthy! It is the only conditioner I use! 

Chubbs bars  This is the newest addition to my shampoo arsenal! It is organic, vegan and SOOOO easy to use, rinses amazingly clean and washes so so well, not to mention the scents are to die for!! It gets out anything and leaves the pets skin and coat (and my hands) so soft and silky! This one is used on everyone!  I currently keep Rosemary mint, creepy nutmeg and unscented as well as lemon and plain sugar scrubs. Sugar scrubs are so great for those with dry or flakey skin and for the month of June will be no extra charge!! 

I don't even keep a medicated shampoo in stock anymore as I haven't found that I've needed it at all! (With that said I'm happy to use one if your bet has recommended it and you bring it with your dog to their Spaw appointment). 

A clean pet is such an important part of everyones Spaw day and all dogs need and can benefit from a good and regular bath!
