Sorry for the delay on this! But here is a Doug update! 

We raised a little over $800 total from the sales of the raffle baskets and donations, WOW!! Thank you all so so much, it helped a lot with the cost of the surgeries!

He had his surgeries one week ago today!  They removed the ugly mass from his front left foot, amputated his tail and cleaned his teeth (and pulled one). He is healing beautifully from all of that! His bum looks awesome and his foot looks (almost) normal!!!  We received the results of what the mass was and it was... more

Good morning everyone! 

Wanted to post a few updates! 

It is an incredibly busy time of year right now, so the wait is long, as such I have started a cancelation list, you MUST book an appointment to get on the cancelation list. No-show appointments or cancelations with less than 24 hours notice will be subject to a $25 fee due to be paid BEFORE booking the next appointment (via email money transfer or cash), there will be no exceptions to this, it is so busy and less than 24 hours notice makes it nearly impossible to fill that space.... more

Doug was at the vet on Friday and his feet are looking worse.  We have another recheck this coming Friday and will be scheduling his surgery for the following week (probably Friday). The quote we have gotten for his surgery is $1400-$1800. This includes his tail amputation and the lump(s) on his poor feet.  So far with your help and generosity we have raised $700, which is absolutely AMAZING!! Meet Doug!  Doug is a 5 year old English Bulldog we are rescuing! He has his fair share of health issues and we just found out that he is going to require a couple of surgeries (a mass removal from his foot and his tail amputated due to some infection). Busy day yesterday at Sarah's Doggie Day Spaw!! I want to introduce you to my sweet friend Sophie! Sophie and I have been working very hard to get her comfortable with the grooming process, she is a rescue and has some anxiety issues, the first few times she came she just stayed for 1/2 an hour or so.  I would do a few grooming related things and her mom would pick her up.  She was very anxious and nervous and was waiting for her mom the whole time, it took many weeks to get her groomed. I've been seriously slacking on posts lately! So sorry! We have had a busy couple of weeks dealing with some flooding in our house (and now repaired and restoration of all the damage ??). 

A big welcome to the new faces I have seen over the last little bit, it's always great to meet new dogs and their humans!!

How gorgeous is Higgins?! Lassie would be proud ;). 

So so nice to meet him yesterday!  And also wonderful to see Maddie, Ruby, Maggie, Jagger, Heidi and Tiffany! 

I will be booking Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays starting in April!
