Any time that you decide to compete with Facebook, you better be on your game. Google+ was Google’s attempt to compete with the social media giant and so far, it has been just short of a fail. However, there are people who use it (like me!), and you can push a little bit of content in an effort to boost your business' rankings on Google itself, so it is worthwhile.
The other reason to be on Google+ is the SEO benefits (search engine optimization – SEO helps your business rank higher in Google search results).
