Have you wondered the differences between an Optician, Optometrist or an Ophthalmologist? An Ophthalmologist is a M.D. and surgeon. An Optometrist is a dr. of sight testing ( not selling glasses). Their job is testing vision. An Optician is an expert in the fitting of glasses, contacts, sunglasses. (much like a pharmacist) You dont buy meds from your Dr., why buy glasses from your eye doctor?
