Retail Sales Associate/Greenhouse Worker/Yard Person/Maintenance Crew
We are looking for hard working individuals with a passion for plants and people, to join our team. For our Utterson and Port Carling locations, offering seasonal full and part time employment.
The retail sales person will be responsible for greeting clients and assisting with plant selection, pricing, stocking, setting up displays and completing client transactions.
In the greenhouse you are responsible for general plant care, planting, pruning, watering, clean and organize work areas, unpacking shipments, pricing, stocking, setting up displays for sales, some heavy lifting, standing for long periods of time, bending, crouching and kneeling.
The yard person’s duties are, general maintenance and repair in greenhouses and garden centre, deliveries to job sites and customers, general construction and woodworking. Knowledge of hand tools and some power tools an asset.
The Grounds Maintenance Crew duties will be to, weed and cultivate gardens, deadhead and prune perennials and shrubs, grass cutting, and leaf blowing at our client’s houses and cottages.
Must be friendly, outgoing and able to multi task.
Must have own transportation to work, company vehicle provided for deliveries and grounds & maintenance crew to and from job sites.
