INFUSED OLIVE OILS

Infusing is the process of adding flavour to olive oil after it has been made.
The infused extra virgin olive oils that we carry use the freshest extra virgin olive oils available in our collection that are most aesthetically compatible with the natural products we use to flavour them with. This simple mandate requires that the chemistry, freshness and quality of our infused olive oil are second to none.  It is a labour of love that we hope you find evident in the flavour, freshness and quality of our products.  
 

Basil – Fresh, green and herbaceous! Basil and olive oil are two integral ingredients in Mediterranean cooking and it was just obvious to us that the two would be wonderful together. Try it on a summer salad (Caprese Salad) or with just bocconcini on its own and let your taste buds travel to the shores of the Mediterranean. A nice dipping oil with your favourite bread, or drizzled over your favourite pasta dish, either with or without red-sauce.

Butter – This creamy extra virgin olive oil is naturally infused with the rich flavour of butter. Use this golden, vegetarian, dairy free olive oil as a butter substitute in baking or anywhere you might use melted butter including: over hot popcorn, with seafood ie., crab or shrimp, to dip bread in, over pasta, mashed potatoes, rice, or in baking.

Chipotle –  A beautifully infused extra virgin olive oil with all the desirable qualities of smoky chipotle, and just the right amount of heat. A versatile addition to any table and meal. The smoky flavour of this chili-infused oil is great for marinating steaks and brushing on grilled chicken or seafood. Drizzle over vegetables or pizza for a spicy meal. An excellent dipping oil for artisan breads, finishing oil for soups, pasta or grain dishes, and a wonderful base for dressings and marinades. Try pairing with our Blood Orange Olive Oil!

Cilantro & Roasted Onion – Made with the perfectly blended flavours of roasted, sweet Cippolini onions and cilantro. Has a wonderful fresh, herbaceous flavour. A great addition to sautéed vegetables, mashed potatoes, great as a marinade for meat, fish and poultry. Try it with popcorn too! Pairs well with our Honey Ginger White Balsamic Vinegar Condimento.

GARLIC - Ultra Premium extra virgin olive oil infused with organically grown garlic actually combines artfully to bring out the intense flavour of pungent, fresh garlic. Since garlic and olive oil are almost always used together in Mediterranean cooking, you can use this in just about anything. A smooth olive oil that only enhances the freshness and intensity of rich garlic. Very noticeable without being overwhelming. Works well over any dish where a touch (or more) of garlic is desired. Simply drizzle over your meal once plated, or over your pot/pan just before pulling away from the heat to get an aromatic meal and thorough garlic flavouring. Try drizzling over roasted potatoes, pasta, or for marinating your grilling meats. Great as a bread dipper, or for brushing over a warm slice of bread, foccaccia, or bruschetta.

Herbs de Provence – The mix of herbs commonly used in traditional southern French cooking was often made up of various local herbs. With top notes of savoury, thyme and bay leaf, our all natural Herbs de Provence olive oil is a show stopper when drizzled over grilled chicken, rubbed on turkey before roasting, for bread dipping, in aioli. The mixture can be added to foods before or during cooking or mixed with cooking oil prior to cook so as to infuse the flavour into the cooked food. Try paired with our Cranberry Pear White Balsamic Vinegar for bread dipping or blended as vinaigrette.

Persian Lime – Persian Lime originated in a region that is currently within southern Iraq, hence the "Persia" in its name. The Persian Lime is known for its larger size than conventional limes, and is often preferred over limes for its hardiness, longer shelf life, and because it is seedless. Our zesty Persian Lime infusion is married with extra virgin olive oil for an unbelievably fresh, fragrant burst of citrus. This is a fun and bright infused olive oil that will add depth and interest to your favourite recipes. This infused oil will take your recipe to the next flavour dimension. Fantastic with fish, poultry, marinades, dressings. Great when paired with our Honey Ginger White Balsamic Vinegar.

Tuscan Herb – A delicious blend of herbs, including sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, rosemary, marjoram, and garlic. Our Tuscan Herb olive oil is a simple, healthy way to add an Italian flair to your dishes. Let the flavours take you away to the rolling hills of Tuscany. Use it on everything from salad dressings to marinades. Sprinkle with grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and a few twists of freshly ground pepper and enjoy with your favorite bread.

 Wild Mushroom and Sage – Delicious combination of fresh herbaceous sage paired with an array of savoury wild mushrooms. The result is a sumptuous, savoury experience. Try drizzled over cream of mushroom soup, on risotto, stuffing and aioli. A great addition to a creamy pasta sauce. It makes inspired vinaigrette when paired with our Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar.
