Many vacation retreats have cathedral or vaulted ceilings in their great room. The height and larger volume of these rooms can create an echo-chamber. Installing wood is a great way to warm- up the ambience and quiet-down the acoustics. The timber frame adds a feeling of strength & security. Home design can be inspired by anything. Here the proportions of 5 barns (including the cupolas) in the local Vermont area were taken into account. The opposite side of this timber frame home has a full walkout ground floor & a view for miles. Start your own wish list; the form is on our website. http://cedarcoasthomes.com/

The moon hanging in the SW sky and the sun easing above the horizon. Winter provides some of the most relaxing times. This timber frame cottage located on Lake of Bays is Energy Star registered -- cozy & easy to heat.
Selfie with my medal for the log sawing competition at the #Gravenhurst winter carnival. Staff at #CedarCoast thinks I must have cheated but #RickMercer was there shooting for an upcoming show. See #TheMercerReport on CBC next week and you'll spot me!
